LEARN (Leading English Education and Resource Network) is a non-profit educational organization with a mandate to serve the English-speaking community of Quebec. Building on the merger of three organizations in July 2005, LEARN has developed a variety of resources and services.

LEARN accomplishes this by offering a wide range of resources and services at no charge. These services and resources include elementary and secondary level teaching tools and content; professional learning; community, school and parental support; as well as a full range of online services through the LEARN Virtual Campus.

PHELPS HELPS

Phelps Aide Phelps Helps was founded in 2012 to expressly combat the unacceptably high drop-out rates in the Stanstead area of Quebec. Since inception, the organization has grown organically from a single high school tutoring program to six individual free-of-charge programs providing educational and career support. Phelps serves Stanstead area community members between the ages of 8 and 30 with a continuum of services, prioritizing those facing numerous barriers to attaining an education and employment.

This ressource provides different strategies to help parents support their children’s learning. It also offers different resources that may address your concerns.

To educate the public on health issues, various cultures and multiculturalism.
To relieve loneliness and isolation associated with aging and to provide recreational, educational and cultural activities for senior citizens.
To operate a drop-in centre for youths, providing counselling, educational and recreational activities in a supervised setting.
To provide academic scholarships to youths for the purpose of furthering their education.
To do all such things that are ancillary and incidental to the achievement of the above charitable objectives.
To raise funds , collect and receive monies and properties by contributions, gifts, legacies, bequests and grants to be used to promote and foster the objectives of the association.
